Happy Fall Day. What a great afternoon we are having. Another great OWL day. I enjoyed visiting with all of you Thursday night. It was fun to see everyone together. Your kids are a happy group of kids if only we didn't have to drop them off.

We had another great week exploring pumpkins. We painted a pumpkin orange at the easel, we looked at different types of pumpkins (bumpy, smooth, orange, yellow, big, little and even heavy). They loved carrying them around the room. We even opened a pumpkin and looked at the slimy seeds.YUCK!! We read the book Five Little Pumpkins and recited the poem while doing the motions. We rolled the pumpkins down the slide. This was great FUN. We played in the black beans and searched for the little pumpkins under the leaves. We played in the shaving cream and WASHED OUR HANDS. I am about to make this a center. They love it.

In Motormovement we threw the leaves in the air and said UP, Down, rolled the ball and crawled like kitty's to different colored lines. We loved this.

In Chapel we wore our coat of many col ores and walked through the life of Joseph by jumping in a well and working and finally becoming king.

I really appreciate all the kind words this week. You guys are all very supportive and you make it easy to come play with sweet owls. Thank you so much for the VERY Cute Boo Crew Shirt. I will be showing it off all next week.

We will be having some more Halloween fun next week and the Fall Festival will be each day during Chapel. Please come and enjoy.

Check out the new pictures.

Have a great weekend

Love,

Ms. Tracee:)

To my sweet precious owl friends and mommy's- Thank you Thank you Thank you so much for my beautiful flowers. I love them. The colors are so vibrant. I can't wait to get my toes done.( a little time for me) You guys are so sweet thank you again.

We had a great week at the farm in the owl class. We LOVED the animals only a few friends said "No Thank You". We chased the pigs and ducks and pet the goats and deer. The ducks were the loudest of the group and they loved to run from us. The goats were just like big dogs and let us pet them without running. SO FUN and a great experience. In our Owl room we stamped animals and played with the animals as we sang Old McDonald Had a Farm. We read a book called Cock a Doodle Do. We love making animal sounds. "MOO QUACK" We made animal sounds all day. I am always working on their language. We played in oatmeal and the shaving cream. We colored with markers. The owls love this. We enjoyed a parachute in Chapel. What a great ride. We played outside and explored our toys. FUN FUN.

I am looking forward to next week as we explore Pumpkins.

Open House is Thursday 22ND from 6:30-7:30. Come and explore the room and meet some of the friends who are in the other classes. I will have centers open to play and some pictures to look at. Hope to see you there.

Hello and HAPPY FALL. Owls love the cool weather. It just makes me feel like HOOTING. We had a great week in the owl class. We explored bears. We read Brown Bear Brown Bear and played with the animal puppets. We put them in bags and boxes and even let them slide down the slide. We played in the water table with shaving cream. We mixed it like soup with the big spoons. We painted a bear brown with a bear fur paint brush.

It is was sensory week and Mrs. Pat had fun things for us to explore like ice in the water tables and frozen hair gel the was different textures as it defrosted. We loved watering the plants as usual and we learned she has a strawberry plant growing. Hopefully strawberries will grow. We also played in corn starch and water that makes an interesting texture. FUN FUN.

In chapel we traveled with Moses and ran through the parted sea and walked along the dessert. We ate Manna and watched a rock give us water. What a great time we had. God worked many miracles.

We are looking forward to next week when we explore spiders.

Please take a look at the new pictures. We had another great time in the OWL class.

Enjoy this OWL like weather and God Bless.
