Newsletter 17

Hello Precious Owls. We had a wonderful week in the owl room. It snowed on Tuesday. We had a great time. In the owl room we painted a snowflake with a cool sponge paint brush. We also put glitter on it. We love this. We painted with shaving cream on the easel. It turned into finger painting and my Tuesday owls explored by spreading it on the windows. FUN, FUN. We read our winter books and enjoyed the class made book about things we do at school. It was a popular read. We explored with ice in the sensory. This was exciting. In Chapel we got to throw bean bags at the Wall of Jericho. What a great week we had.

Remember there is no school this week. We have our conferences. If you need to bring your owl that is fine. They can play while we talk.

The following week is Valentines. Please plan on sending a Valentine for each of the kids in your child's class. We will make a little something to put the notes in. I will provide a valentine snack.

See you guys at conferences.

Thanks
Ms. Tracee :)

Week 16 Newsletter

Hello Sweet Owls~~~

I hope all of you are feeling ok. I know alot of stuff is going around. Despite all the illness at my house we had a great week in the Owl Room. It snowed on Thursday!! Did you see it? It was not even cold. The Thursday Owls really enjoyed the snow and the fast hill. In class we put a face on our snowman and talked about face attributes. We played with our snowmen and winter ducks in the snow. We climbed through the belly of a whale in Chapel just like Jonah.

I look forward to next week were we will explore the snow and cold.

Thank you all for your patience with my families illnesses. I hear that everyone does fine while I am gone.

Remember Snow Date has changed to Tuesday @9:15. Wednesday Owls are welcome.

Love

Newsletter 15

Hello Sweet Owls. Are we enjoying a cold winter day? Owls like to hide in there trees and stay warm so please stay in your "trees" and stay warm today. What a great week to study snowmen. We read How to build a snowman and built our own snowman. We worked on putting a face together and talked about a happy and sad face. We played in the cotton "snow" and discovered there were snowmen and winter ducks in the snow. We dug through the snow and found and ducks and snowmen and sorted them. We also counted them. They did a GREAT job with this. We drew with markers and snowmen stickers. They love this. We talk about colors while we open and close the markers. We painted a snowman and put glitter on it. SO FUN. We went to motor movement and Chapel where we found baby Jesus under the star just like the Wise Men. We made a candle and a star snack. WE HAD A WONDERFUL WEEK.

I am so proud of my owls everyone did a great job at drop off, I had very few tears. YEAH!! Everyone was talking more and it seemed they grew up over break.

I look forward to next week we will explore cold and snow.

I have the best job and it was nice to get back to it.
