Hello My sweet Owls. We had Christmas Fun in our class last week. We read The First Christmas and sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. We decorated our Christmas ornamanet for the class tree, we also made some "secret projects". We saw all the animals. SOOO FUN. We rode Larry the Camel and Jack the Donkey. We also got to pet the sheep and a 3 week old lamb. We had so much fun. We played outside in the beautiful cool weather and played with the Manger scene.

Please come and join us this week for our Happy Birthday Jesus Party followed by cake in the owl room.

Try to get some rest and enjoy the rush.

It is Christmas in the owl class. We had a fun week talking about baby Jesus. We painted a Christmas tree, and explored with Christmas stamps. We played in the ribbons and bows. So fun. We read First Christmas and Five Little Christmas Trees. We explored the nativity scene and sang Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. What sweet voices. In Chapel we followed the star and found baby Jesus and rang bells as we sang songs. In motormovement we played with the balls and parachute. We love this.

I look forward to next week when we have the live Nativity Scene. Come ride the camel. We will be working on a Christmas surprise next week.

Take a deep breath and try to find some Christmas peace this week.

God Bless

Good Day my sweet precious owls. I missed my Tuesday owls because my daughter was sick, but she is doing better. We had a great Wednesday and Thursday. We glued fall shapes and stamped fall items and made a pumpkin knuckle print. We enjoyed talking about Mr. Turkey and singing the turkey song again. We love to Gobble. We went to chapel where we jumped and counted to 10 while listening to the story of the 10 leper men that Jesus healed and the one man that said Thank you. We talked about saying Thank you to God. We also went to motormovement where we played on the parachute and rolled the balls. We love this. As always we played outside and explored all that Ms. Pat has for us.

I look forward to next week where we will explore Turkeys.

Remember the Big Picnic is next week. Please come and enjoy the puppet show and fish sticks.

We are still filling our big orange box full of can goods.

We painted a pumpkin, stamped pumpkins, played in the water table and used our fine motor muscles to pick the little pumpkins out of the water. We read Corduroys Halloween, Pumpkin Patch and Here comes Halloween. We even tasted and played in Pumpkin Pudding. FUN FUN. We went to the Fall Festival and made butter and took a hay ride. Happy Fall Day. What a great afternoon we are having. Another great OWL day. I enjoyed visiting with all of you Thursday night. It was fun to see everyone together. Your kids are a happy group of kids if only we didn't have to drop them off.

We had another great week exploring pumpkins. We painted a pumpkin orange at the easel, we looked at different types of pumpkins (bumpy, smooth, orange, yellow, big, little and even heavy). They loved carrying them around the room. We even opened a pumpkin and looked at the slimy seeds.YUCK!! We read the book Five Little Pumpkins and recited the poem while doing the motions. We rolled the pumpkins down the slide. This was great FUN. We played in the black beans and searched for the little pumpkins under the leaves. We played in the shaving cream and WASHED OUR HANDS. I am about to make this a center. They love it.

In Motormovement we threw the leaves in the air and said UP, Down, rolled the ball and crawled like kitty's to different colored lines. We loved this.

In Chapel we wore our coat of many col ores and walked through the life of Joseph by jumping in a well and working and finally becoming king.

I really appreciate all the kind words this week. You guys are all very supportive and you make it easy to come play with sweet owls. Thank you so much for the VERY Cute Boo Crew Shirt. I will be showing it off all next week.

We will be having some more Halloween fun next week and the Fall Festival will be each day during Chapel. Please come and enjoy.

Check out the new pictures.

Have a great weekend

Love,

Ms. Tracee:)
